Welcome to Rob Mayer and Cathy Cantwell’s blog. We have enjoyed the great good fortune of holding research jobs here at Oxford since 2002, affording us excellent resources and a remarkable freedom to pursue our intellectual passions for things Tibetan and Buddhist. In our blog, we will share, discuss and debate some of our more interesting discoveries with you.
looking forward to this.

Dear R & C,
Welcome to the worldwide Tibeto-blogosphere. It’s the future of the field (and a great place to perpetuate good things from the past, but don’t let that secret out).
Love you both.
Yours,
D
Emaho! I look forward to more!! Good luck and stay fresh.
Best,

Dear Robert & Cathy,
Just thought I’d drop you a note and let you know I’m nominating kīlī kīlaya for a ‘Liebster’ award. And what is this you ask? Frankly, I don’t really know. Apparently, its supposed to be something to recognize smaller blogs that do good work. You’re selected by another blogger, and then are supposed to nominate pick three to five other blogs in turn. I had not heard about this until Dan Martin nominated my blog, but so far, neither fame nor fortune seems to be forthcoming. So feel free to totally disregard this, but I hope you enjoy knowing that there are at least a few of us who enjoy reading this.

Janine Schultz pointed me toward your blog. Janine Schultz has extremely good taste.
Thanks, Lala Rokh! It’s very kind of you to say so.
